About Dr. Kaminester
I am board certified in both General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and I specialize in psychotherapy with children and teenagers, for which I have undergone advanced training. I am honored to have graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Chicago with a B.A. in Psychology (1995), followed by medical training at the McGill University Faculty of Medicine, from which I received my M.D. (1999). Following completion of a 5-year combined residency training program in General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at University of Massachusetts Memorial Health Care in 2004, I have been in practice in Massachusetts.
During my time in practice, I have had the opportunity to work with children and adolescents and their families in both the public and private sectors. I initially opened my private practice in 2004 in West Boylston, MA and in June 2006 I relocated my practice to Concord, MA. Continuing my tradition of working with diverse populations, in addition to my private practice, I also serve as Staff Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at a residential treatment facility for children and adolescents with severe emotional and behavioral problems, and provide psychiatric consultation and care to a local group home for adolescent boys
